Morning Glory Shots
Gooooood morning! I LOVE to wake up to morning glory. Hang on...WHAT?! Gosh, guys, get your minds out of the gutter. I'm talking about superfood shots. I call them morning glory shots because they get you up in the morning ( ;)...guys, gutters.) and will ensure you have a glorious day.
They're great little power shots to have before brekky to get the digestion going, alkalise the body and give you a surge of super dense nutrients first thing to get your day started on the right foot. Each little shot has bee pollen, fresh ginger, fresh turmeric, chilli and cucumber. I add a teaspoon each of red and green superfood powders and some filtered water then blitz. Likelihood is you won't like the taste, but shoot it like you did when you were 18 at the cluuuuub (don't you even start to tell me you liked the taste of tequila/jagermeister/sambuca when you were 18) and chase it with some water.
There's a bunch of things you can put in your Morning Glory Shots - these ones are great for coming into winter or if you're run down to fight away sickies. Try fresh garlic, parsley, liquid chlorophyll, cacao, hemp seeds, chia seeds, lemons, grapefruit, acai powder, maca powder, matcha tea powder....the possibilities are endless.
Make tubs or zip lock bags for the week and pop in the fridge.
